JASON BENTLEY TO HOST AND BOYS NOIZE TO PERFORM AT WALT DISNEY PICTURES’ “TRON: LEGACY” WORLD PREMIERE

Walt Disney Pictures’ “TRON: Legacy” will hold its world premiere, presented by Nokia, on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood with Jason Bentley, the film’s music supervisor, hosting the after-party music program and setting the stage for featured artist Boys Noize.
Bentley, the music director of KCRW 89.9FM and host of the signature weekday music program “Morning Becomes Eclectic,” invited Alexander Ridha, aka Boys Noize, to man the decks at the premiere.
Ridha, the famed German DJ and music producer behind the label Boysnoize Records, founded in 2004, writes and produces songs for major bands such as The Black Eyed Peas. Boys Noize is one of the most in demand and influential turntabalists in the new electronic music movement, having been awarded the Independent Music Award in 2010 for Best Song Dance/Electronica for the song “Jeffer,” and the Beatport Award for Best Electronica & Indie Artist three years in a row 2008, 2009 and 2010. Boys Noize’s signature remixes, such as Depeche Mode, N.E.R.D., Chemical Brothers and Feist, blend classic electronic style, upbeat tempos and state-of-the-art technology resulting in fan devotion worldwide. Bentley says,
“I wanted to feature a musician who had a firm grasp of the futuristic aesthetic of ‘TRON: Legacy’ and would take it to another level. I can’t wait to see people’s reaction as they spill out of the premiere and walk into the thrilling environment of the after-party.”The event will also feature Nokia’s new N8 device and its cutting-edge entertainment capabilities, as well as Kodak photo locations, placing guests into the “TRON: Legacy” digital grid.
The after party, which will be hosted at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland, will be transformed into a “Tronized” party with flashing blue lights, a buffet reception by Wolfgang Puck Catering, “Trontinis” and contemporary lounge furniture.
The highly anticipated, 3D high-tech adventure “TRON: Legacy” opens in US theaters on December 17th in Disney Digital 3D™, Real D 3D and IMAX® 3D.
